Unfortunately there is no humidistat or timer. You cannot set a specific humidity level nor can you set the humidifier to go off after a certain number of hours. But it will automatically switch off if the water level goes too low.

You can add your own essential oils to the built-in aroma diffuser.

How Easy Is It To Use?

There’s no complicated setup process involved. Just add water to the reservoir and plug it into an outlet. Then use the control panel to set your preferred mist strength or control the LED night light.

Rotate the 360-degree nozzle until you can feel the mist reaching you.

As with other ultrasonic humidifiers, you have to clean it often to avoid mould and a musty smell. Cleaning is easy and quick. The humidifier quickly disassembles into two parts that are easy to wipe clean.

While the Aennon humidifier needs regular (ideally daily) cleaning to prevent mould, cleaning it is easy. The unit disassembles easily into two parts that you can then wipe down with a soft cloth. Feel free to wet the cloth with a mixture of vinegar and water. Do not use salt or a detergent.

Conclusion

This is an ultrasonic humidifier meaning it operates very silently. Unless you are actively listening to it, you probably won’t notice it’s there apart from the fine plume of mist coming out of the nozzle.

It has a fairly large tank (2.8 liters) that can easily last through the night and even longer if you leave it in low mode. You can also use it with your favourite essential oil to add a nice aroma to the air.

There is mist control but no humidistat so you can’t set a specific humidity level.
